Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 2026. The short version: we collect only what you give us, we use it only to work with you, and we never sell it.
1. Who we are
Trodas Services ("Trodas", "we", "us") is a software engineering studio operating from India and serving clients worldwide. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through https://trodas.com and in the course of providing our services. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@trodas.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what you give us: name, email address, company name, and project details submitted through our contact form or sent by email. Our website uses privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic; we do not build individual visitor profiles or sell data to anyone.
3. How we use your data
We use your contact details to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, deliver contracted services, and send project-related communication. We do not add you to marketing lists without explicit consent, and we never share or sell your data to third parties for their marketing.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
For clients in the EU/UK, we process personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your inquiry), contract performance (delivering agreed work), and consent (any optional communications). You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Data retention
Inquiry data is retained for up to 24 months so we can maintain conversation context, then deleted. Contractual and invoicing records are retained as required by applicable law. You may request earlier deletion of inquiry data at any time.
6. Client project data
Data shared with us for project delivery (documents, datasets, credentials) is handled under the confidentiality terms of our contract or NDA, accessed only by team members working on your project, and deleted or returned on request at project end.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Email contact@trodas.com and we will respond within 30 days. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. Credentials shared for project work are stored in encrypted secret managers, never in plain text or shared documents.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated effective date.
